Announcing the 2012 Great American Muralist Competition

Call to All Muralists!!

 

Muralist’s think and work big! This competition has been organized to promote the leaders in the mural industry.

 

Open to all muralists, domestic and foreign. We will be advertising to many Mural sites, interior designers and the media to help promote you.

 

The competition will be held at the Tucson Convention Center, Tucson, Arizona, Octobe 5-8, 2012. We will be running the competition during the 2011 Fall SAHBA Home Show and will have 12,000+ in attendance. There will also be extra days put on the calendar for tours, Charity Auction and Meet and Greet Parties.

 

Please submit your application to compete in the 1st Great American Muralist Competition.

Competition Format

Super Star – Winners of this year’s Star competitions

Star – Professional Muralist competitors

New Star – Winners of this year’s Rising Star (Novice) competitions

Rising Star – Novice competitors

Co-Star – Vendors and muralist’s not competing but are showing their work in a booth.

 

Timed competition Murals will be painted during Show hours – Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 7pm, Sunday 10am to 2pm with breaks for Lunch. Awards at 4pm Charity Auction will be t the next night at the Meet the Artist’s Party.

 

Homeshow audience The SAHBA 41st Homeshow has an audience of 12,000+

The first American Flag Freedom Mural and was painted by Annie and dedicated in the name of Nick Palmer, a U.S. Marine that had been killed in Iraq.
