Annie Margarita is showing in the Paris-Tucson Cultural Exchange Art Show in October 2010. Together with Victor Navarro, Annie Margarita will be guiding a look at Paris with an artist's perspective in a new International Artist Holiday! See the Itinerary!

 

 

 

Featured Technique - Venetian plaster

 

Venetian Plaster is one of the only wall finishes that actually adds value to your home's equity! Annie uses different tools and techniques for quality Venetian plaster. She can create aging effects, patterns, color layers, and polishes to gain personalized looks for your home. Venetian Plaster is a synthetic product that contains marble dust that can be burnished and waxed to create a marble-like finish on your wall. New Ceiling Medallion Class March 13, 2010 -

 

Annie will be teaching how to design, layout and paint your own ceiling medallion. Students will get hands on practice of techniques and measurements to layout a pattern on a ceiling, application of different materials to get the look you want and how to make a finished design. Decorative Painting Class!

 

Join Annie's Basic Techniques Class to learn her special styles in Color washing, Glazing, Aging, Marbleizing, Wood Graining, Wool blends, and Layering.. Students will learn about products and materials for creating elegant finishes. Classes will have live demonstrations, hands on practice and critiques to help you apply paints and glazes in a professional manner. Class is offered February 19-21, 2010. This is a three day class, 9 AM to 3 PM. Cost is $595. including materials and lunch. Students will complete sample boards to keep for their portfolio. Meet Me in Paris! Oct. 25-Nov.2, 2010

 

 

Annie Margarita is extending her trip to Paris to include an International Artist Holiday. This trip is a very personal look at how Annie and Victor Navarro enjoy Paris and they will be your Personal Guides. There will be a very limited number of guests on this trip!

 

We will be staying 8 nights at the beautiful Normandy Hotel right next to the Louvre Museum! The trip will include 2 half days of Plein Air painting at different locations near the center of Paris: the Seine river and Notre Dame cathedral plus Montmartre and Sacre Couer. One full day will be spent touring the Louvre museum, one day at the Museo D'Orsay to view the Impressionists and a day at Versailles Palace! Art materials will be brought along to paint in the gardens of Versailles Palace! There will also be a day touring the Loire valley for wine tasting and discovering the chateaus.

 

Annie and her artist friends will introduce you to local style restaurants, shopping and activities, that are more on the theme of living as an artist in Paris.
